Finishing: Cut about 106 strands of yarn that measure about 5″ long. Attach 2 strands of yarn at the end of every row on the 2 slanted edges of the shawl. Fold the 2 strands over the hook at the middle. Insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through. Pull the yarn tight to secure. Once all the fringe has been attached, trim to 1 1/2″ long or desired length. Hide the yarn tails in with the fringe.
