This hat is inspired by Addy’s boater hat from her summer collection. It sits just atop the doll’s hair and you can add some elastic to the sides of the hat to wrap around the chin if desired. The hat is simple and quick to make using basic crochet stitches.

Row 1. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next 2 ch, 2 sc in the last ch, rotate and work down the opposite side of the chain, sc in the first 3 ch, 2 sc in the last ch. (10 sc)
Hat is worked in continuous rounds. Place marker at the first st of each row.
Row 2. Work 2 sc in each st around. (20 sc)
Row 3. Inc, sc in the next 6 sts, inc, sc in the next 2 sts, inc, sc in the next 6 sts, inc, sc in the last 2 sts. (24 sc)
Row 4. Inc, sc in the next 8 sts, inc, sc in the next 2 sts, inc, sc in the next 8 sts, inc, sc in the next 2 sts. (28 sc)
Row 5. Sc in the next st, inc, sc in the next 10 sts, inc, sc in the next 2 sts, inc, sc in the next 10 sts, inc, sc in the last st. (32 sc)

Sl st to the next st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Ribbon & Bow
With the ribbon, cut it the width of the circumference of the top of the brim of the hat. With the hot glue, glue the ribbon with the overlap in the center front of the hat. Cut another strand about 8” long. Tie in a bow and trim the edges. Hot glue the bow over the overlapping ribbon on the front, center of the hat.
